Co., Virginia, and died 1839-40 in Marion Co.,Tennessee. He married ELIZABETH LADD Bef 1774 in Virginia, daughter of Noble Ladd and Judith
Dameron.

Solomon
Stone was a soldier of the Revolutionary War. He was living in Surry Co. North
Carolina when he enlisted. He was in the North Carolina Troops under Captain
Richard Goode and Colonel Joseph Williams. Ezekiel and Solomon Stone served in
the same units. Solomon was placed on the pension roll on April 6 1833.
Solomon's Revolutionary War Pension Record states that after the war he moved
to Georgia, then to South Carolina, then to Tennessee, then to Alabama, then to
Marion Co. Tennessee about 1829. No Georgia record has been found for Solomon
being in Georgia. However Noble, Solomon's son, did make a bond on March 18,
1845 for some land that was in the county formerly known as Dade County
Georgia.
