occupation was listed in 1850 as a gatekeeper for a Turnpike in Grundy Co.
Tenn.
Berry
was taken prisoner by Confederate Troops and hung by them on May 29th 1863,
along with David Flood and James Smith of the 1st Arkansas Infantry, Company F,
Union Forces.
